Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program

The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) is a federally funded program available to eligible WIC participants and seniors. Those who are eligible for these programs are provided coupons to redeem for fresh, local fruits and vegetables at participating farmers’ markets and farm stands. The program operates between June 1-November 30 each year. For the season participants will receive a booklet of five $5 coupons for a total of $25 (one booklet per person per year).

CCE Nassau markets and farm stands accept FMNP coupons, but CCE Nassau does not distribute coupons. For more information about the Senior FMNP or for questions about distribution, please contact the Nassau County Office for the Aging at (516) 227-8900. For information about the WIC FMNP or for questions about distribution, please contact your local WIC office.
