The Marine Summer Field Trip Program is possible under a partnership with New York Sea Grant, New York State Department of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation at the Jones Beach Energy & Nature Center, and Cornell Cooperative Extension Nassau County. This program was developed for youths aged 8-12 years old to connect with marine and coastal educational resources. This class field trip features interactive and engaging activities including seining to identify marine life, exploring coastal habitat and wildlife, lessons about important coastal issues, introduction to common shoreline hazards, basic water safety and much more!
Please note this is for groups only!
Walk-ins are not accepted and group leaders must register to reserve a session. Each session is from 10:00am to 3:00 pm.

10-20 students: $75
21-30 students: $125
31-40 students: $175
(There is no additional fee for chaperones)
Bus Permit Fee:
$35 per bus
Program cost and Bus Permit fees are payable by check to “NY State Parks.”
