This position will serve as Program Area Coordinator (for assigned area**) for DPF 4-H Camp, a residential summer camp owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Nassau County, located in Riverhead, New York. The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to: assisting with weekly program de sign, implementing afternoon and evening programs and activities, assisting daily operations of the DPF 4-H Camp as directed; and supervising 4-H campers and counseling staff. This position accepts and performs all position duties outlined in this position description, and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and deemed appropriate by the DPF 4-H Camp Director and/or Camp Team Leader. (NOTE: This position includes cabin responsibilities.) **Area assignments include Arts & Crafts (i.e. craft, jewelry making, cooking, recycled crafts, etc.), Performing Arts (i.e. music, dance, drama, Zumba, etc.), Nature, Fishing, Environmental Science, STEM, Farm, Sports, Outdoor Adventure, High Ropes/Rock Climbing, Archery, and Counselor In-Training (CIT).

Aquatics Director (Waterfront)
This position will serve as the Waterfront Coordinator for DPF 4-H Camp, a residential summer camp owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Nassau County, located in Riverhead, New York. The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to: overseeing and coordinating the DPF 4-H Camp’s waterfront and swimming activities, and maintaining the standards that lead to a quality program. This position will identify and meet camper needs, and will operate waterfront programs in compliance with the American Red Cross requirements for water safety. This position accepts and performs all position duties outlined in this position description, and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and deemed appropriate by the DPF 4-H Camp Director and/or Camp Specialist. (NOTE: This position does not include cabin responsibilities.)
Salary: Starting at $8,500.00 to $10,500.00 full summer (depending on experience)

Community Leader
This position will serve as a Camp Community Leader for DPF 4-H Camp, a residential summer camp owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Nassau County, located in Riverhead, New York. The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to: supervision of assigned staff and campers, counselling staff members for job success, assisting with camper supervision including but not limited to dealing with camper behavior issues, failure to thrive in camp environment, etc., assisting with weekly program design, implementing afternoon and evening programs and activities, assisting in daily operations of the DPF 4-HCampasdirected. Cook / Kitchen Manager
This position will serve as the Camp Kitchen Manager/Cook for DPF 4-H Camp, a residential summer camp owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Nassau County, located in Riverhead, New York. The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to: directing all kitchen functions, planning meus, ordering food and supplies, and coordinating three (3) balanced meals and one (1) snack each day camp is in session. The Kitchen Manager/Cook must follow 4-H, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and New York State Department of Health guidelines in performing all position duties. This position accepts and performs all position duties outlined in this position description, and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and deemed appropriate by the DPF 4-H Camp Director and/or Team Leader. Cook / Kitchen Assistant

Senior Counselor
This position will serve as a Senior Camp Counselor for the DPF 4-H Camp, a residential summer camp owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Nassau County, located in Riverhead, New York. Junior Counselor

Farm Assistant
This position will serve as the Farm Assistant for DPF 4-H Camp, a residential summer camp owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Nassau County, located in Riverhead, New York. This position will serve as a Counselor - Lifeguard for the DPF 4-H Camp, a residential summer camp owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Nassau County, located in Riverhead, New York. Maintenance Assistants
This position will serve as the Maintenance Assistant for DPF 4-H Camp, a residential summer camp owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Nassau County, located in Riverhead, New York. The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to: assisting with providing up keep of camp grounds and buildings to maintain a safe and neat looking facility, and assisting with performing basic maintenance and custodial responsibilities. Nurse
This position will serve as the Camp Nurse/Health Coordinator for DPF 4-H Camp, a residential summer camp owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Nassau County, located in Riverhead, New York. The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to: supervising the health and cleanliness standards for the DPF 4-H Camp, and working cooperatively with the Camp Director and Camp Staff to ensure adequate physical health conditions for all staff and camp participants. This position accepts and performs all position duties outlined in this position description, and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and deemed appropriate by the DPF 4-H Camp Director and/or Team Leader. This position will serve as the Camp Secretary for DPF 4-H Camp, a residential summer camp owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Nassau County, located in Riverhead, New York. The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to: assisting with administrative duties as they relate to the camp store; track and monitor inventory; keep records of all income and expenses for Canteen; purchase supplies as authorized by Camp Director, Camp Manager and/or Team Leader; coordinate the daily operation of the camp store; assist senior staff in completing administrative work and obtaining program supplies; manage the camp store; oversee camp mail. The Camp Secretary will also serve as receptionist for camp and perform routine clerical and secretarial duties. This position accepts and performs all position duties outlined in this position description, and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and deemed appropriate by the DPF 4-H Camp Director, Camp Manager and/or Team Leader. (NOTE: This position does not include cabin responsibilities.)
Salary: Starting at $4,400.00 to $5,500.00 full summer (depending on experience)
