Oak Trees is a program For youth 8-12 looking for opportunities to learn new skills and broaden their knowledge in topics ranging from STEM, Agriculture, History, Natural Resources, Arts and more. Our educators will give lessons each week, Wednesdays 4:30-6:30 on various topics following a monthly theme. This is a great opportunity for your youth to learn new skills in a fun and engaging manor.
Our 140 acre Living Learning Laboratory is a place for young minds to creatively solve everyday problems through hands on interactive learning. Our classrooms range from outdoor environments like our farm, woods, grassy fields, and the sound, to inside our dynamic learning center, chicken coop and Lodge.
Lesson topics range from 3D printing, farming, kitchen skills, fiber arts and much more. We are open to suggestions on what your youth want to learn more about. See November and December themes below. Stay tuned for January, which is 3-D printing.
