Dairy in the Classroom Program
A hands-on journey from cow to cup right in your classroom!!
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County, in partnership with New York Agriculture in the Classroom, is excited to offer Dairy in the Classroom , a free, 6-week educational program for Nassau County elementary schools. Through engaging lessons, students will explore how milk travels from local farms to their table while discovering careers in agriculture, sustainable farming practices, and the science behind dairy foods.
We encourage schools to reserve their preferred session block now. While we understand you may not yet know your exact classroom sizes or times, submitting a request now ensures we can plan ahead. Final scheduling details will be confirmed in September once the new school year begins.
