Vendors

As a market committed to supporting locally-made products, we accept vendors that sell produce and other goods that have been grown or otherwise produced on Long Island.

Why should you be a vendor at the 2025 CCE Nassau Farmers Market?

  • As a market in a major park with numerous weekend activities, your business will get great exposure.
  • Close to 500 visitors browsed the stalls on our busiest day in the 2024 season.
  • Our market is centrally located on Long Island, with easy access to surrounding counties.
  • In 2024, we had 20 vendors throughout the season and 12 on any given day.
  • It is a great opportunity to connect with Cornell Cooperative Extension and Taste NY.
  • We offer affordable rates for market vendors, with weekly fees and seasonal discounts.

If you are a farmer, producer, or other small business interested in joining our team of vendors for the imminent 2025 market season, we would love to have you!

For the Vendor Application, please email us at nassau@cornell.edu.

Volunteers

Do you want to support local businesses? Do you enjoy farm-fresh and locally-made food? Are you looking for a great way to help out in your community during the summer and fall seasons?

Come volunteer at the CCE Nassau Farmers Market!

Market volunteers play an important role in helping us to achieve the CCE Nassau Farmers Market mission: to bring awareness to the benefits eating farm-fresh produce and supporting local businesses can have on one’s health and well-being, as well as the community. Volunteers working at the market help to fulfill our mission and, as members of the community we serve, help make the market better equipped to serve its customers and residents of Nassau County. As volunteers, individuals will assist the Market Manager and the market team by assisting with the set-up and takedown of the market, engaging with customers, tending to the Market Manager’s table, assisting with the evaluation of the market, helping with programs and activities, and other tasks. Based on individual skills, interests, and availability, volunteers can choose which tasks they would like to assist with.

For volunteering at the market, individuals will receive credit for school and/or honor societies as well as discounts towards CCE Nassau products and merchandise.
