The CCE Nassau Horitculture program provides support and services that can help home gardeners with a variety of gardening challenges.
Trained Master Gardener volunteers respond to your gardening questions. Hotline and Horticulture Center are open T, W, Th, and Sat from 10am-1pm and Th from 4pm-7pm, or stop into the East Meadow Farm during these hours. Winter Hours are T, W, Th from 10am-1pm (November-March).
You can obtain pH and texture soil tests through CCE Nassau. Click here for soil testing fact sheet and the instructions for taking a soil sample before bringing your sample to CCE Nassau for pH testing.

This service is done here at CCE Nassau for $7/sample. If necessary, samples can be sent to Cornell University for identification, at a charge of $25/sample. Please read this information about how to submit an insect sample to The Cornell University Insect Diagnostic Laboratory.
