Community Farm Stand

A collaborative education project of the Dorothy P. Flint 4-H Camp, the Horticulture Education Center at East Meadow Farm, Nassau County, the Nutrition Department of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County and other community organizations.

The goals of the Farm Stand Project are to educate members of the community about:

  • Local and sustainable urban agriculture
  • Nutritional benefits of locally produced agricultural products
  • Sustainable practices for home gardens

Our Farm Stand will offer a variety of vegetables, herbs, flowers and firewood in season. With your continuing support we hope to add eggs, meat, baked and canned goods in the future. Vegetables, herbs and flowers will be produced at our 4-H Camp Farm in Riverhead, at our East Meadow Farm location and local small farms.

Farm Stand is open seasonally, July 14th on Fridays 3:00pm - 6:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am - 12:00pm.

Located at: 832 Merrick Avenue, East Meadow, NY  11554
