GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on November 30, 2021, and throughout the year.
In this time of uncertainty, there is a fundamental truth that gives us hope - that together we can do extraordinary things. Throughout this pandemic, the entire world has been coming together to stand up, help, give back, and heal. Whether this is through donations to community organizations, celebrating doctors and nurses at shift changes, or reaching out to a neighbor to help with groceries, generosity has been helping the entire world get through this global pandemic. As you know, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County (CCE Nassau) combines Cornell University research knowledge and practical experience to help make real differences in people’s lives and their communities. This year we are participating in GivingTuesday, a global day of unity and giving and your donation will help make a difference in Nassau County.
Not only do we need your support but we also need your help to spread the word about CCE Nassau and our unique educational programs. Tell your friends and family why you believe in our work and encourage them to support us too! Please join us by donating on GivingTuesday (November 30th) or any time before the end of the year by clicking here or by mailing a check made payable to "Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County” to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County, PO Box 148, East Meadow, NY 11554.
Thank you for support of our programs. Together we can work in pursuit of economic vitality, ecological sustainability and social well-being. We can continue to bring local experience and research-based solutions together, helping Nassau County families thrive in our rapidly changing world. On behalf of the entire CCE Association we’d like to wish you a happy holiday season.
