CCE Nassau would like to announce two online training events.

This training opportunity is for educators from all over! Learn how to implement a dynamic garden-based learning curriculum that focuses on a changing climate.


GARDENING IN OUR WARMING WORLD: YOUTH GROW!

Time: 10:00am to 1:00pm

Description: A 3 hour Cornell Garden based learning "Train the Trainer" Professional Development course for Homeschool Leaders, School Teachers and Administrators, Parents, Community Members, Master Gardener Volunteers, and anyone else with an interest in gardening and climate change.

During this time, we will go over the Curriculum activities, discuss various methods in which to implement it within your communities, teaching environments and classrooms. Explore tools that 4-H educators use to measure positive youth outcome.

Information to join via Zoom the day of the event will be sent prior to November 30th.

MASTER GARDENER, POSITIVE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
