We have trillions of microscopic organisms living in our gut and the interaction between these microflorae can have a huge impact on the human body. Research suggests a strong association between the amount and types of bacteria in our gut and chronic conditions like obesity, insulin resistance, and type 2 diabetes. In this workshop, we focus on methods for modulating our microflorae and how prebiotics and probiotics can keep our gut happy and healthy.
