Cloverbud Programs

The 4-H Cloverbud Program has been designed for 4-Her's who are 5-8 years old. The overall purpose of the 4-H Cloverbud Program is to foster the development of life skills while having fun and engaging with the natural world!

Each program is $90 per child.

Seasonal Exploration: What makes one season different from another? Explore the science that shapes natural rhythms in weather, animal activities, and plant cycles through outdoor observation, experiments, and games. Create crafts and artwork using season-specific themes and natural materials, and tasty snacks using seasonal foods.

Silly Science: This program is both educational and fun. Our hands-on scientific activities will capture your attention and leave you amazed.

Crawlers and Fliers: Find out who shares our garden spaces, from feathered friends to creepy-crawlies. Build homes and feeders for these small garden neighbors from recycled and natural materials.

Saturdays 04/25 – 05/30
10:30 – 11:30 am 4 – 8 years old

Kids Cook: It is never too early to teach good nutrition and cooking skills to youth. Youth will learn about healthy food choices and how to prepare tasty snacks and meals. During the learning process youth will learn fine motor skills, use math stills to measure and learn about the science of cooking.

12pm – 1pm 4 -8 years old

Nature Crafts: Make projects for items from nature or recycled material. Explore the items used in your projects. Learn to express yourself creatively using items found in nature.

Saturdays 04/25 – 05/30
12 – 1pm 4 – 8 years old

Pet Projects: Youth will learn how to care for their pets, as well as the science and nature of companion animals. Pets may include cats, reptiles, rabbits, birds, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs and dogs. This project offers the opportunity to have some meaningful responsibility and take pride in caring for something alive.
